A passion for textiles. Since the family business was founded in Cologne, three generations of LUIZ have devoted every fibre to the finest natural materials, to craft techniques handed down from generation to generation and to refined manufactured products. Products tailored to the spirit of the times. More than five decades of specialisation in this field have led to the development of a precious collaboration under the sign of the noblest textiles. Kika and Hanns Luiz laid the foundation stone in 1969. They were followed by their son Thomas and his wife Rita who, like the founding generation, are committed to maximum quality and perfection. Together with small, specialised weaving workshops and the company’s own staff, who have mastered almost-forgotten craft techniques, they form a creative alliance that produces unique products for you. In this way, the company has set a standard that is still impressive today, always offering a touch more than customers expect.

Since 2004, sisters Anna and Barbara LUIZ have been taking up the thread and weaving it in a contemporary way. They combine creativity and tradition, exclusivity and casualness to create collections with an undeniable signature.

Designer Peter Fehrentz is making his mark on LUIZ beds. His creations combine precision and poetry. Clear lines, flowing silhouettes and the sensuality of the LUIZ fabrics used give the collection its radiance. We offer you a wide range of stylistic options. They range from pure modern lines to classic elegance, from casual chic to sensual opulence. All our beds are made in Germany. Their materials, properties and high level of craftsmanship produce the effect – body and soul find rest.

Your LUIZ mattress is perfectly matched to the corresponding LUIZ slat base in order to make the most of its comfortable and ergonomic benefits. Depending on your personal preferences, you can opt for a slatted base or a boxspring system. In both cases, we’ve put together a clear ‘best of’ list of the most popular models. Available in fixed, manually adjustable or motorised versions, these selected slat base systems provide you with optimum support 24 hours a day, from bedtime reading to the deep sleep phase.

Literally the icing on the cake. The toppers form a unit with the mattress you’ve chosen. They provide an initial sensation of softness that welcomes and envelops the body. But the practical aspects are equally convincing. The toppers regulate moisture and protect the mattress.
