Since this family business was founded in Cologne, three generations of LUIZ have devoted themselves to the finest natural materials, traditional craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation, and refined manufactured products.
Products tailored to reflect the spirit of their time. More than five decades of specialisation in this field have led to the development of a valuable collaboration focused on the finest textiles.
Kika and Hanns Luiz laid the foundation stone in 1969. They were followed by their son Thomas and his wife Rita, who, like the founding generation, are committed to maximum quality and perfection.
Together with small specialist weaving workshops and company employees who have mastered almost forgotten craft techniques, they form a creative alliance that manufactures unique products for you.
The company has thus established a standard that is still impressive today, always offering that little bit extra that customers expect.
Since 2004, sisters Anna and Barbara LUIZ have taken up the thread and woven it in a contemporary way.
They combine creativity and tradition, exclusivity and relaxation to create collections with an unmistakable signature.
