This model is the result of a collaboration with Jeanne De Marguerye and the Abbaye d’En Calcat, and a contemporary adaptation of Dom Robert’s Ombelles in a panoramic setting, hand-drawn by Francesco Battista.<\/p>\n

Dom Robert (1907-1997), pseudonym of Guy de Chaunac-Lanzac, was born in New Aquitaine. A Benedictine monk from the Abbey of En Calcat, he was one of the masters of contemporary tapestry. His artistic life was made up of contemplation of nature, sketches, drawings, elaboration of cartoons, numbered translation of colours, and monitoring of weaving in the Aubusson workshops.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

The panel is cut into three 50 cm wide strips.<\/p>\n
